Isabel Nina Young is a screen printer and surface designer based in Wangaratta, specialising in patterns for textiles. A Studio Textiles and Design graduate of RMIT, she practiced out of her Melbourne studio for 7 years before relocating to North East Victoria. 

Isabel makes her patterns using linear and gestural brush strokes, inspired by native botanicals and the Australian suburban landscape. Her textile construction and decoration are thoughtfully designed, with a commitment to slow fashion, to create timeless, usable, art.

While her output is focused on screen-printing and textiles, Isabel also works in ceramics, weaving, bookbinding, natural dyes, basket making and wool spinning.
